(ARB) Architectural Review Board, Covenants & Restrictions:
The Architectural Review Board (ARB) is made up of three board members whose job it is to protect our property values and to insure neighborhood harmony within the St. Johns Landing Community. The present (ARB) came into existance in March 1996, when ownership passed from the developer.The (ARB) meets as needed is there is business to discuss. We do ask that you submit five (3) copies of your plans, prior to our meeting for review. The meetings are open and we encurage your participation when your request is being considered by the (ARB).
In addition to new construction, (ARB) approval is required for the following twelve (12) matters:
- Removal of tree or shrub exceeding eight inches (8") in diameter.
- Having artificial grass, plants, or sculptural landscape outside.
- All "Exterior Improvements", as defined in Article 1, Section 14 of the Covenants.
- Any Sign placed on any lot
- Any fence and or wall
- Residential use of a temporary structure such as trailers, basement, tent, shack, garage, barn and outbuildings.
- Mailboxes, Paper boxes and other receptacles.
- Solar energy and conservation devises.
- Permanent water, electricity, telephone, and other utility connections.
- Exterior lighting plans.
- Operation of any motorized vehicle off paved roads and drive for maintenance, construction, security or similar purposes.
- Any repair or reconstruction of damaged property and or Common Property
Matters before the (ARB) are considered and voted upon at a meeting following the request being submitted. A majority vote is required for approval. If you have a request for the (ARB) to consider, please complete the Request Form.
PLEASE NOTE:
- It is imperative that the ARB be given 30 days advanced notice to review all project requests.
- You may attend the monthly HOA meeting to support your request.
